Course Description: This course is
described to familiarize students with the techniques used in the
preparation, purification, and analysis of organic compounds.
Course Objective: The course is intended
to introduce students to the equipment and glassware found in the
organic chemistry laboratory as well as its use: to introduce the
most important procedures used in an organic laboratory in the
fields of synthesis, purification, and analysis; and to bee able to
determine melting points or boiling point of a sample, whichever is
appropriate.
